About Troop 193

Troop 193 is an active and growing Troop in Winchendon with over 30 members including both boys and girls. We are proudly chartered by the American Legion Post 193 and are in the Soaring Eagle District of the Heart of New England Council, BSA.  Troop 193 welcomes boys and girls, ages 11-17, there's something for everyone!

Scouting America is one of the nation's largest and most prominent values-based youth development organizations.  Scouting America provides a program for young people that builds character, trains them in the responsibilities of participating citizenship and develops personal fitness.

For over a century, Scouting America has helped build the future leaders of this country by combining educational activities and lifelong values with fun.  Scouting America believes - and, through over a century of experience, knows - that helping youth is a key to building a more conscientious, responsible and productive society.

Troop 193 strives to be the best and encourages the Scouts to be upstanding members of the community. We do all types of activities including camping on Mt. Monadnock, hiking the many trails in the North Quabbin area, rock climbing indoors and out and proudly serving the community we live in.
